Listen to your body


"Listen to your body" and "Allow your body to guide you" are somethings I share when guiding my students. I believe listening, accepting and trusting allows us to be in tune with our body. When in tune, we're able to be attentive to all the messages we receive from our physical, emotional and mental bodies. Invite that and welcome the messages as they will guide you.


Next time you settle on your mat, invite a few rounds of deep breaths in and out. Clear your mind and notice how you're feeling. Are you feeling tightness, are you needing to be more grounded, or perhaps seeking energy. Connect with your breath, find stillness and welcome the pause. Let go, relax and listen. You'll know what it's seeking and if you allow, your body will guide you.
